September is National Recovery Month
National Recovery Month
National Recovery Month (Recovery Month), initiated in 1989 by SAMHSA, is an annual nationwide celebration that takes place each September. It aims to champion and endorse emerging evidence-based treatment and recovery methods, honor our robust and resilient national recovery community, and recognize the unwavering commitment of service providers and communities that enable recovery in all its diverse forms.
With the right treatment, support, and resources, recovery is possible for everyone. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in or seeking recovery from mental and substance use disorders.
Circa Behavioral Healthcare Solutions supports Recovery Month every year and the theme this year of Recovery. Is for every person, Every Family, and Every Community is especially important to our work in compliance. When we work with treatment organizations to engage staff in ethics to prevent burnout, empower teams in compliance to detect turnover, and enhance leadership to correct cultures we are making recovery possible for more. We believe that happy and healthy staff are ethical and compliant to provide quality and safe care for all served!
